EVOS Fleet22

Overview

The EVOS Fleet22 FAC22-001 can be installed on single-phase or three-phase supply, delivering up to 7.4 kW single-phase or 22 kW three-phase at 32 A per phase. The current Type 2 configuration uses a 5 m tethered cable and is rated IP65/IK10, with operation from -25°C to 55°C. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet with optional 4G, and OCPP 1.6J is supported. The MyEVOS platform provides connected charging control. EVOS Solar Match and Solar Export require compatible current metering and communications hardware, while broader dynamic energy management is provided through the EVOS energy-management architecture. The charger includes 6 mA DC residual-current detection and requires an upstream Type A RCD and MCB.

Using this charger at home in Australia

This charger supports higher AC charging speeds where both your home's electrical supply and your EV's onboard AC charger allow. Confirm your home's phase support with a licensed electrician, and check your EV's maximum AC charging capability.

Where the charger and required monitoring equipment support solar-aware charging, the system can adjust EV charging in response to available solar generation. The exact behaviour depends on the charger, metering or sensors, inverter setup and configuration.

Where supported and correctly configured, load management can reduce EV charging power when other household loads increase, helping keep total demand within the configured site limit.

OCPP support allows the charger to communicate with compatible OCPP charging-management platforms. OCPP support by itself does not guarantee integration with a home battery, solar inverter, electricity tariff or every third-party platform.

The manufacturer lists an IP65 enclosure rating for this charger. The final mounting location should follow the manufacturer's installation requirements and be confirmed by the installer.

A dedicated home EV charger should be installed by a licensed electrician. The installer should confirm the circuit design, switchboard capacity, protection requirements and any applicable local electricity-network requirements.
